Indian Quranic Delegation Visits ICRO in Tehran

IQNA – An Indian Quranic delegation visited the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) headquarters in Tehran.

An Indian Quranic delegation visiting Iran held talks with Head of ICRO’s International Quran and Propagation Center Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini Neyshabouri

 

The delegation held talks with Head of ICRO’s International Quran and Propagation Center Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini Neyshabouri during the visit. 

During the meeting, Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini Neyshabouri emphasized ICRO’s commitment to the development and strengthening of the Quranic diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He highlighted the focused efforts of the International Quran Center for achieving this goal, describing the role of ICRO as very important in this regard.

He said the Quranic Diplomacy Headquarters, aware of its duties and responsibilities in this area, will spare no effort in assisting Quranic activists in the international arena.

He outlined the programs of the center aimed at preserving and strengthening the Quranic capacities of the country to enhance both the quantity and quality of Quranic exchanges with target countries, including India.

The cleric emphasized the necessity of increasing coordination to achieve the outlined goals.

In this meeting, Mawlana Qari Wasif, representing the managers of Quranic institutes in India, expressed gratitude to the International Quran Center and ICRO for their warm hospitality towards the Indian delegation.

He also conveyed his pleasure about the visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the opportunity to meet with high-ranking cultural and Quranic officials in Iran.

Wasif stressed the centrality of the Quran in the unity and cohesion of the Islamic Ummah, describing Shia and Sunni Muslim as two supporting pillars of the unified Islamic Ummah.

He also stressed the importance of both countries working together to utilize the Quranic capacities to strengthen the ties between the two nations.

The high-ranking Quranic delegation from India will be in Iran for one week, where they will directly learn about the country’s Quranic capacities in the fields of education, research, and Quranic promotion, particularly in the holy cities of Qom and Mashhad.
